Terms & Conditions:
1. Slot system for trainees
(1) A structure for enrolling new trainees, based on slot merit, efficiently managing, both prior and incoming memberships at Changas basketball Academy (CBA); ensuring financial transparency with parents and improved competition.
(a) slot is a trainee’s position on ‘CBA’ for respective month
(b) membership status is attained once admission fee of 2000BDT is paid
(i) trainee with a prior membership status is revoked if respective trainee is absent for 2 consecutive months
(ii) section 1(1)(b)(i) does not apply to incoming waitlist members
(iii) in the event of not receiving a slot by the incoming waitlist trainee the admission fee is refundable
(c) parent is legal and/or assigned person of respective trainee
(d) competition is accumulative sum of respective trainees (monthly) attendance and progress reports
(2) Waitlist enrollment and payment system & methods
(a) waitlist is the list of incoming and/or prior trainees that are waiting for an open slot
(i) is a first come-first serve basis
(b) payment timeline for a slot is 1st-5th of respective month
(i) failure to meet (2)(a) will result in removal of slot for respective trainee.
(ii) if available, slot will be offered to respective trainee for an added late fee of 1000BDT
(c) is cash, Bkash, Nagad and Bank transfer
(i) CBA will not be liable for payments made to incorrect numbers or bank details.
2. Attendance & progress evaluation
(1) the method of measuring individual player progress on a monthly basis using 3 specific classifications: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
(a) beginners are trainees with up to 4 consecutive weeks of absence
(b) intermediates are trainees with up to 3 consecutive weeks of absence
(c) advanced are trainees with up to 2 consecutive weeks of absence
(2) Demotion policy
(a) Advanced trainees absent for more than 2 consecutive weeks will be demoted to intermediate
(b) intermediate trainees absent for more than 3 weeks will be demoted to beginner.
(c) Beginner trainees absent for more than 4 consecutive weeks will be flagged- absent for a month
(i) Absence for 2 consecutive months results in membership status being revoked; section 1(1)(b)(i)
3. CBA is not responsible for any loss of personal belongings on the premises.
4. The Academy assumes no liability for trainee injuries, except for providing initial first aid and contacting parents/guardians.
5. In the event of training cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances or natural disasters, CBA is not liable.
(a) Fees are not adjusted due to unforeseen circumstances; monthly payments will remain active
6. For Junior trainees, parents must promptly collect their children at the end of the training session. CBA is not responsible for situations arising from delayed pick-ups.
